Spinal Cord Injury Foundation Ticket Lottery Update
Hello Everyone,
Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in our Province, Spinal Cord Injury Newfoundland and Labrador Foundation
Winter Draw 2020 LOTTERY LICENSE # 19-10376800LT
The Winter Draw 2020 originally had a draw date of Thursday, April 9th 2020 which has now been changed to TBD with a hopeful date of May 7th 2020. We had 1 week left on the phones selling tickets and 80% of our tickets were currently out with our delivery drivers to be delivered to the doors of individuals. As social distancing was becoming a major necessity, we couldn’t in good faith allow these drivers to go door to door at this time endangering each of our loyal supporters or the drivers themselves with coming in contact with this virus.
Therefore, we have suspended all operations of the delivery drivers at this time. When this situation has improved to the point that it is safe to continue we will resume the delivery of tickets. For those of you who are interested in purchasing tickets, they are still available online through our site and can be sent to you through email.
Car Draw 2020 LOTTERY LICENSE # 20-10013500LT
The Car Draw 2020 originally had a draw date of Saturday, April 25th 2020 which has now been changed to TBD. We are unable to provide a hopeful date at this time as we are awaiting availability from The Avalon Mall to let us know when and for how long we can resume operations.
These tickets were being sold primarily in the Avalon Mall and under social distancing consideration, it was not responsible to continue to have the ticket sellers (many of whom who are considered to be at a higher risk) continue to sell tickets and handle money in a face to face nature at this time.
We have suspended direct sale of these tickets at this time and hopefully, we will be able to provide you with an update of when these tickets will be available in the Avalon Mall by the end of the month. For those of you still interested in purchasing tickets, they are still available online through our site and can be sent to you through email.
I apologize to all of our supporters who have purchased a ticket for the Winter Draw 2020 or Car Draw 2020 at this time and want to thank you for your understanding of the necessity for us to suspend the draw dates for these campaigns to when it is safe and responsible to resume operations.

It is a common sense decision. I buy this tickets to support your association. The date of the draw is immaterial to me. Safety to people’s lives is (and should be) your major concern.
What is the status of your Lottery draws
I donate to help the people that the organizations are set up to help and it’s a bonus to have a ticket draw !! I just found the ticket stubs and was going to toss them out but thought I would check the winners just to see and found out that the sales and draw were suspended due to Covid19 and that’s very understandable, maybe it was posted and I didn’t see it
