Spinal Cord Injury Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador

Spinal Cord Injury Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador is comprised of two separate companies “Spinal Cord NL Foundation” and “Canadian Paraplegic Association NL Foundation” that raise funds to support the programs and services of Spinal Cord Injury Newfoundland and Labrador.

How do we raise money?

The SCI Foundation NL raise funds through an assortment of lottery draws that are held throughout the year and under the rules and guidelines of NL Lottery License Regulations. We currently hold 5 cash draws throughout the course of the year where we sell tickets over the phone and on our website to individuals living in Newfoundland and Labrador. We also hold an annual draw for a luxury automobile with a representative from the foundation selling tickets at multiple locations across the island.

Who works for us?

SCI NL Foundation employs individuals with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities through Spinal Cord Injury Newfoundland and Labrador’s Career and Employment Disability Case Management program. These individuals work side by side with experienced Marketing Associates in an environment where they are not only employed but gaining skills and experience in customer service and sales and marketing.

How do we use the money raised?

All funds raised by the Spinal Cord Injury Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador go to support the programs and services of Spinal Cord Injury Newfoundland and Labrador. SCI NL Foundation is the primary sponsor of the Quality of Life Grant Program and the Peer Support Program.
